Closets for Schools Program

Closets for Schools focuses on providing clothing to students in need within a school community. Clothing closets serve as an onsite resource for counselors at schools where there is a high demand for clothing from an underserved student population.

We remove the stigma that is attached to worn out and old clothing. We give kids confidence, reduce the opportunity for bullying and help alleviate financial pressure on those unable to purchase clothing. Closets for Schools serves K-12 schools in the public and private sector in Houston and surrounding areas.

Closets For Schools gives children, teens and their families the ability to choose clothing that they want to wear and at the convenience of being local to the individual in need. Closets for schools, in partnership with Clothed by Faith, give each individual a minimum of one week's worth of gently used clothing, shoes and new socks and undergarments.
